A small Sri Lankan team that plans every trip personally

ABR Holidays is a young travel company from Sri Lanka. We are a small team, and we like it that way: the person who answers your first message is the person who plans your route and stays in touch during your trip.

Why we started

We grew up here, and we kept seeing the same thing. Visitors either booked a big package with a fixed programme, or they tried to piece together drivers, hotels and train tickets on their own. The first is often rushed, the second is stressful.

We wanted something in between: a private trip, planned around you, with people on the ground who know the island and answer quickly.

German-speaking support

Our partner Ravindu lived in Germany for six years before coming home to Sri Lanka. He speaks German and understands what German, Austrian and Swiss travellers expect: clear information, honest prices and plans that work. How we work

• Private only. No group tours. Your car, your driver, your pace.
• Honest prices. We publish prices from the start. Your quote lists exactly what is included and what is not.
• Local partners we know. We work with experienced, licensed drivers and with hotels we have contracts with across the island.
• Respect for animals and places. We do not sell elephant rides or visits to places where animals are kept for show. We prefer national parks and rescue centres that release animals back into the wild.
