A honeymoon in Sri Lanka, planned around the two of you
Boutique hotels in the hills, a safari, and quiet beaches at the end. A private trip for two.
Sri Lanka is made for honeymoons: you can climb an ancient rock fortress in the morning, drink tea above the clouds the next day and end the trip on a quiet beach, all within two weeks and without long flights in between.
How we plan a honeymoon
- Fewer places, longer stays. Two or three nights in each place, so you are not packing every morning.
- Special hotels for special nights. Most of the trip in comfortable hotels, with a few nights in a boutique hotel or villa where it matters most: in the tea hills, on the beach, or near Sigiriya.
- Private everything. Your own car and driver, private safari jeep, and dinners where you want them.
- Beach time at the end. Three or four nights by the sea after the round trip.
Ideas couples love
- A sunset on the walls of Galle Fort.
- Breakfast with a view over the tea estates in the hills around Ella or Nuwara Eliya.
- An early morning jeep safari to look for leopards in Yala.
- Whale watching from Mirissa (November to April).
- A few days of Ayurveda massages and treatments.
Upgrades
Our trip prices start with good 3-star hotels. For a honeymoon, many couples upgrade some nights to 4-star or 5-star hotels. Tell us your budget and we suggest the best mix.
